5 days Penang Trip
This is my first time taking Budget Airline, AirAsia.
In the past, there are only SIA and Malaysia Airline that fly to Penang.
Bro took half day leave and drove us to airport.
Check in 3.45 pm at T1.
Reached Penang around 5pm.
Day 1- Went to my mama old house to take a look.
I think the house got one hundred years old ba.
The whole house is made of wood and is surrounded by durians, rubber, mangosteens and rambutan trees....
Wah there's some changes, finally have electricity but still very "lockko".
Water flow from the hills top. Haha if wanna do "biz" must go into the forest to dig hole but be careful got insects bite your butt. Haha
If ask me to stay there overnight, I will protest.
In the past, if it was durian season, we will sit infront of the door and ate durians.
I miss those days :D
Penang is smaller than Singapore. Don't noe why I keep thinking that Penang is bigger than Singapore.
Day 2- Went Penang Tropical Fruit Farm.Didn't manage to go Desaru Fruit Farm so went to Penang Tropical Fruit Farm.
Thought that the rain will stop. Who know it rain non-stop.
At the Fruit Farm, managed to see some fruits. Like Bananas, Dragon Fruits, Macadamia Nuts...
However, it rain even heavier and the plantation is flooded with muddy water.
No choice had to end the tour.
Still got alot of fruits didn't manage to see.
Very disappointed :(
The farm tour is RM25, include one tour guide and fruits buffet.
The mango juice is nice. Real fresh mango juice no water or sugar added.
Haha got free gift, one free Jambu or they called it water apple.
If it didn't rain sure very interesting to explore around the farm.
I wanna go back again or go Desaru Fruit Farm. [^^]
Btw the farm toilets are really close to the nature. The toilets don't have windows, look outside are hills and fruit trees.
After that we drove passed the Penang Dam.The dam is big and is surrounded by hills.At night, went Queenbays Mall shopping.Bought nth.Shops like Forever 21, Topshop... Sg also have and the price is around the same.Saw something very interesting.Malaysia Dorayaki is called 丁当煎.I thought is 铜锣烧.

Day 3- Shopping and eating.Cousin drove us to House of Dim Sum Restaurant 点心之家 @ Anson Rd.Thumb up for the Char Siew Su and Egg Tarts.The Egg Tarts are crispy and hot. Just came out of the oven.5 ppl eat around RM 38. Convert to Sing dollar is around S$15.The Dim Sum is cheap and nice. [^^]
After that, we headed down to Prangin Mall and Pacific Komtar shopping.
Haha I only bought contact lens. LOL same brand freshkon but cheaper than Sg.
At night went shopping @ Gurney Plaza.
Fastfood ~ A&W [^^]
I miss their Root Beer Float, Waffle Ice-cream and Curly Fries.
Why A&W outlets in Sg had to close down???
Manage to try some Penang local food like Char Kway Teow, Kway Teow Theng, Lok Bak and Tau Sa Pia.
As usual, my parent bought many boxes of 豆沙饼 and 马蹄酥 to give their friends.
Penang have many Tau Sa Pia shops and all their names will end with XX 香.
Day 4- Shopping and eating.
Continue shopping @ Gurney Plaza cos last night haven finish shopping and most of the shops already closed at 10pm.
I have invest on food rather than on clothing. Lunch at Sushi King and bought donuts at Big apples donuts and coffee. Penang food is cheap. One plate of sushi is around S$1.20 and one donut is round S$0.90
If shopping, convert to Sing dollar is around the same unless there is sales.
Cousin brought me to one hair salon at Komatar. Hair Impression.
Omg the hair stylish is so handsome. Hehe [^^] his name is Christepher. We had some little conversion. Aiyo if I know the stylish is so handsome, I should have wear my contact lens instead of my "tutu" de glasses. No chance to let him cut my hair le. What a pity :( Asked my mama whether my hair nice or not and she said my face looks like apple. [^^''']Whereas I asked my papa and bro, they gave me the same answer. 还不是一样, got cut hair meh!!! LOL
Day 5- Last day
Haha my cousin's daughter is so cute.
Really very suay, the past few days kept raining non-stop and when I was about to come back Sg, the sun is out.
First time entering the flight through climbing up the stairs. Don't know why can't enter through the "tunnel".
Overall, this trip was alright but still a little disappointed cos it kept raining non-stop.Haix, they said that 7th month is Malaysia raining season. Really?
Next time go back again, I must choose the durian season :3
But now, I should really starts my diet plan.
Can't postpone anymore or my face really going to look like Fuji apple. LOL
Fuji apple -> is round and big.
